Maui Camping Trip

Surf up bro! This trip was personally one of my favorite boy scout trips ever with 457 and 647. There were so many fun things to do in Maui, and even though the weather may have been a little cloudy, and the accommodations not quite to resort standards, we still had a blast. The first day that we got there, we set up camp, and watched sheets of rain pour down on our pop up, which mostly protected our main tent, but the ground was still pretty wet when we got up. The second day, we did a hike on the waihe’e ridge trail. On the way up the view was beautiful and was an easy summit to make. That day we also had lunch in Paia, and rode the waves like pro surfers. Then we had shave ice and headed back to camp. That night we enjoyed chocolate fondue from the hot pot for dessert and played a little bit of gaga ball in the dark. In the morning we packed up camp and headed out. Overall it was highly recommended and we should definitely go back sometime soon.
